Experimenting with silk crepe

This hat is wet felted using merino wool and silk crepe. The silk being an outside layer rather than inner creates some lovely texture and sheen.

This hat is made using that beautiful Blue Faced Leicester wool we received from Rod and Carolina O'Finland! Such a pleasure to work with and the colors..well...as you can see... are inspiring.

Getting ready for the show here in sunny Tucson, Arizona...Doubletree Hotel January 31-February 6th with pre and post workshop classes available. During this event we will be selling our fine felted art as well as teaching wet-felting.
