Desert Spring at the Studio

Another new vest...phoenix rising. And wait until you see Sally's newest piece. Will get photo and post as soon as I can. Good day in the studio and then a tram ride and walk in Sabino Canyon this afternoon. The desert is in glorious bloom--inspiration abounds.

Green to welcome spring...

New!!! vest of merino wool...one piece construction. Having fun adapting the piece for a custom fit using the fibers for control. Gotta love not sewing! :)

Day 3 at the To Bead True Blue Show

People from all over the world are shopping at this show...

lovely lady

...at the show...we didn't even know this lovely lady when we made this nuno-felt top just for her! Will she buy it? It's so fun to see the work worn by someone. Another dimension to the joy of felting...

Day 1 at the To Bead True BLue Show

Had a good first day at the show especially with all of the lovely visitors we had via the Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild, The Southwest Fiber Arts Guild, the felters network, and of course our fine neighborhood neighbors! Thank you all for your support...you know how good it is to look up and see a friendly face. :) The show is busy and chock full of sparkly eye candy of all kinds. I am biased but many of those shiny baubles are just waiting to be ensconced in a new felt home to really shine! ...left camera at the shop so no photos today but will catch up tonight...
